Inspirational Poem

I PRAY

I Pray for those who cannot weep
when they know they should;
for those who no longer laugh,
the way that they once could ~

I Pray for the vacancies,
where warm hearts used to sing
and for the missing child “inside,”
who never needed wings ~

I Pray for those who live
in unrelenting loneliness ~
I Pray when one feels absent,
you fill their emptiness…
and the lost are found again,
with the spirit of the Lord.
~ Amen ~
